Harbourview Playground
Winnipeg, MB – City of Winnipeg Playground for ages 18 months to 12 years old.
Working with McGowan Russell Group Inc. The challenge here was designing to include the existing play features and site
dimensions that weren’t exact. The request was to include 3 natural play features and to design a play space that had 3
specific themes:
1) Water Theme – 18 months to 5 years old – play features include a trawler spring rider “Winnipeg” written on the
back, a boat themed play structure with 2 slides, climbers, and a sail roof, as well as, a mini quattro.
2) Marsh Theme – 18 months to 12 years old – this area includes standing teeter totter, sitting and standing spinners,
duck and frog spring riders.
3) Forest Theme – 5 to 12 years old – a psychomotor course with leaf toppers includes boulder, 10’ and 11’ climbing
trees, climbing walls, balance beam, oscillating overhead loop ladder to a platform with duo ant climber and 6’
sliding pole.

Diplomat Tot Lot Playground
Winnipeg, MB – design, supply, and install a play structure with additional play features into an existing
play space with concrete curb where the previous play feature was removed due to vandalism/fire.

Garden Grove Park Playground
Winnipeg, MB – this nature theme tot lot designed for 18 months to 5 years old features a spider climbing web, rabbit and frog spring riders, leaf roof, as well as, swings.

Headmaster Park Playground
Winnipeg, MB – City of Winnipeg Playground for ages 18 months to 12 years old. This play space has something for everyone with slides, climbers, teeter totter, standing spinner, a variety of play panels, as well
as, a 2 bay swing set with toddler and belt seats.

HS Paul Park Playground
Winnipeg, MB – City of Winnipeg Playground for ages 5 to 12 years old. This cable course
play space was designed to have a unique nature feel as children climb up, down, across, and over the challenging rope
course. There is also a beautiful corkscrew climbing vine, along with a variety of musical panels.

Edward Shindleman Park Playground
Winnipeg, MB – City of Winnipeg Playground for ages 5 to 12 years old. J&D worked with McGowan Russell Group to design a “ninja theme” play space around existing play features.
Follow the circuit with an overhead curved loop ladder to the challenging curved overhead twirling bridge, race across the leaf bridge that brings children to a 5’ platform with a sliding pole and a climbing wall with hand grips. Take a ride on the 20’ track rider or a spin on the standing spinner before you and your friend's race down the 6’ high triple slides.
